Lissanoure Castle Wedding
I first met Emma and Jan a few years back, when I was invited to Emmas family home for a family shoot. Fast forward a few years, and I was delighted when Jan got in touch with the fantastic news that himself and Emma were getting married. I was even more thrilled to hear that they wanted me to photograph their Lissanoure Castle wedding.
They are now both living in Hong Kong, so organised this amazing wedding from afar. However, from the outset I knew it was going to be stunning, full of fun, with their personalities and family being at its heart.
Personalisation was a prominent feature of the day. Jan wore a hand made tailored suit, whilst Emma had spent hours adding celtic touches to her veil. Even the meal had courses from Poland and Ireland…a nod to Emmas heritage and Jan’s Polish connections.
They chose Lissanoure Castle; an amazing venue just outside Loughguile in Northern Ireland. It is exclusively yours for your wedding day and has the most amazing backdrops for wedding photography. I fell in love with Lissanoure a few years back, and just love returning time and time again. Its also on my list of favourite wedding venues which you will find here.
Emma and Jan, thank you so much for inviting me to be your wedding photographer, I loved every minute of it
Emma and Jan chose to tie the knot in Belfast before traveling on to the amazing Lissanoure Castle.
As a Lissanoure Castle wedding photographer, I knew the journey well, and it wasn’t long before I arrived at Lissanoure. The guests were not far behind, and the fun and frolics began!
Whilst the guests were enjoying drinks and nibbles, myself, Emma and Jan slipped off into the amazing grounds to capture some stunning portraits.
The amazing barn at Lissanoure Castle is the perfect venue for any wedding breakfast…Emma and Jan had the barn dressed beautifully. I was completely blown away!
Some local Irish dancers got the party started, and the dancing continued into the wee small hours 🙂
