I’m Ursula and you’ll find me walking along this very beach every Sunday.

Photographer, tea maker and editor-in-chief.

I’m a Northern Ireland wedding photographer and I discovered my love of photography in the school darkroom. It changed my life. I’ve covered over 350 weddings in Ireland, the UK and beyond.

My approach to relaxed wedding photography is all about capturing the real stuff — the genuine, slightly chaotic, beautifully honest moments — across Northern Ireland, letting your day unfold exactly as it should.

For me, it’s about documenting your day in an authentic way, mixed with the superpower of time travel to bring the memories right back.

You will love the craic, you will love your photos and you will love how stress free wedding photography can be.

Frequently asked questions

Most couples book 12–24 months in advance, with a year being the average — especially for bank holiday weekend weddings. I limit myself to 20 weddings a year, so early booking secures your date.

Yes — I’m happy to share full wedding galleries with you.

My blog shows highlights from many weddings, and I can send you complete galleries too, so you can see exactly what a full day’s coverage looks like before you book.

Yes, I travel all over Northern Ireland and beyond. The furthest I’ve travelled for a wedding is Lake Como in Italy…and yes, I’ll happily travel abroad for you.

I’m based just north of Belfast, right by Sandyknows roundabout. Yes, it’s a nightmare (if you don’t know the lanes), but it gives me direct access to the road network here in Northern Ireland.

Travel is included for all Northern Ireland weddings.

Yes, I live by my girl guide motto of ‘be prepared’. Backups are essential in delivering a professional service when capturing couples wedding days. You never know the minute something will fail. I have pretty much 2 of everything in my kit bag. I currently bring 4 cameras to every wedding.

My cameras also have 2 memory cards, simultaneously making identical copies of every photo. So, for every click, I have it twice. Overkill? Absolutely not!

Dramas happen. In 2021, my main camera stopped talking to the lens during a wedding service. I simply swapped over. The couple were unaware that it had even happened (although my heart skipped a few beats). That girl guide motto and my obsession of backups for the backups saved the day.

Yes, I’m fully insured. This protects my equipment and also provides peace of mind. If your wedding venue needs a copy of my insurance, please share my contact details with them and I will happily provide it.

I usually aim to get your wedding photos to you within 6 weeks. However, keep an eye on your inbox, as I always send a few sneak peeks within 24-48 hours of your wedding.

Honestly? This is my speciality. Most of my couples tell me they hate having their photo taken — and by the end of the day, they’ve forgotten I’m even there. No forced poses, no “look at me and smile,” no awkward standing-in-a-line moments. I work in stealth mode, capturing the real stuff as it happens, so you can just relax, have a laugh, and let the day unfold naturally. If you hate posing for photos, I’m your woman.

You’ll typically receive 500–700 fully edited images

Every wedding is different — a longer day with more guests naturally means more images — but I never hold back. You’ll get a full, honest gallery telling the whole story of your day, not just a “highlights reel.

Yes! An engagement shoot is a great way to get comfortable in front of the camera before the big day — and it means we already know each other well by the time your wedding rolls around.

This is Northern Ireland — rain happens, and I’ve shot enough weddings in it to know it’s rarely the disaster couples fear. Some of my favourite images are rainy-day shots: umbrellas, reflections, cosy indoor moments. I always have a backup plan for your venue, so don’t stress about the forecast — I’ve got it covered.

Prices vary hugely — anywhere from around £200 to several thousand pounds — but the average wedding photography budget in Northern Ireland currently sits around £1,250–£1,600 (source: Hitched). My packages start at £995, and I’ll always give you a clear, no-surprises quote before you book — get in touch and I’ll send you the full breakdown.

Mostly, it’s just me — one photographer, one familiar face on your morning, not a stranger swapped in last minute. I love working solo — I can move quietly, blend in, and catch the real moments without a second camera hovering.

That said, if you fancy a second pair of eyes on the day — brilliant for capturing bride prep and groom prep happening at the same time, or extra angles during the ceremony and speeches — just say the word. It’s built in as standard with my top collection, and easy to add to any of the others.
