Steeped in history, the drafting of the Irish Constitution happened right here in the Shelbourne Hotel.
The hotel is famous the world over and has hosted many distinguished guests over the last 200 years. The list ranges from Charlie Chaplin, Laurel and Hardy and John Wayne to JFK, The Rolling Stones and Princess Grace of Monaco. Indeed, the presidential suite is called ‘The Grace Kelly’ suite (and its beautiful!).
My own little personal experience is sharing the lift with Ronan Keating, his wife Storm and son Cooper. I never was a Boyzone fan, but the backstory to my lift share has given me hours of entertainment.
