Mairead and Gareths Wedding Day
Sometimes you just know when a wedding is going to be fantastic…and this was certainly the case with Mairead and Gareths wedding. It was a family affair, from the outset it was clear, that this couple had family at the heart of their celebrations.
The Wedding Venue
Ballymagarvey Village is one of the most exceptional wedding venues in the whole of Ireland. Having won multiple awards, its so easy to see why its top of the list for may couples.
Getting ready and the Beautiful Bride
On arriving at Mairead’s mum and dads house, I was greeted to a lovely relaxed household.
Everything was calm and on time. Mairead’s organisational skills were very evident, even her lovely dog was dickied up with his bow tie!
Her colour choice in bridesmaid dresses was very on trend, and coordinated great with her fabulous flowers. Make up, hair, bubbles and craic took centre stage as everyone beautified themselves for the day ahead.
The Dapper Groom
A Dapper groom met me at the beautiful St Teresa’s Chapel, where Mairead and Gareth tied the knot in a lovely personalised service
The Wedding Cars
The drive to Ballymagarvey was taken care of by David Andrews Cars. They have all sorts of ‘vintage’ style cars, and Mariead and Gareths choice was just perfect.
The Wedding Flowers
The Posy Barn created the most amazing bridal bouquets and button holes for the men. They were truly beautiful and consistent with the amazing flowers that the Posy Barn create. Kathryn is a super florist and worth checking out.
Its always an absolute pleasure to work with Clive from Pigmint Films. He is a gentleman and a master at his craft. If you are in the market for a wedding videography, please look up Clive. Winner of many awards, you will not be disappointed.
Exceptional Wedding Cake
Oh My!!! I loved Mariead and Gareths wedding cake. It was absolutely delicious. Created by Primrose Lane Bakery, I would highly recommend to anyone who is having a wedding in the Co Louth area.
The Nooks took to the stage after the meal and had everyone dancing into the wee small hours. This country folk band were fabulous and a great night was had by all.
Mairead and Gareth’s Wedding Photography
Ballymagarvey village never disappoints when it comes to wedding photography.
The buildings, the walkways, the small lake, streams and lantern lit driveway…all of it makes for exceptional backdrops to your wedding photos.
Happily, Mairead and Gareth were keen to explore the many beautiful locations around the estate, and we had great fun during the bridal portraits; even if I did almost fall into the lake!
Heres a little snapshot of the day 🙂
